Your own system
Despite owning one of the finest and most advanced Hi-Fi showrooms in Australia, we are aware of the inherent limitations that we, and other retail stores such as us, face when it comes to recommending an audio or audio/visual system.
Firstly is the limited knowledge that most of our clients have of our industry. This is understandable, while we work in this industry 40/50 hours a week, we sometimes forget that others do not have, or even wish to have, the same opportunities to develop this knowledge.
The second is time. We sometimes do not have the time (particularly during busy periods) to impart the information that is necessary for the consumer to make a valued decision.
As a result the consumer places their blind faith in us. While this is very flattering, I sometimes wonder if the choices that we have made on behalf of the consumer are the correct ones, and would they have been different if the consumer had a little more knowledge, and if we had the time, and the forethought, to ask all the right questions. Hence this section.

Introduction
Here we intend to impart enough knowledge that will allow you to understand this industry. Then we will ask a series of questions that will help us to suggest a system for your specific requirements. It may be necessary for us to make some further contacts before this stage is complete. Once we have made a suggestion we recommend that you to make an appointment to our showroom where we will have the system connected for your evaluation. With your input the system can be further refined in-store.
Hopefully this will allow us to provide you with a system that will exceed your aspirations, and meet your lifestyle requirements.
The first and possibly the most difficult decision that you need to make is what you expect of your system, and what the application of that system will be. While all systems are designed to play music, and in the case of A/V systems, movies, and there will need to be some compromises made depending on your intended use.
Therefore I will start this by giving a brief outline of what your choices consist of.
