Beyonwiz PVRs - Update your Firmware Now

The Beyonwiz people are periodically updating the firmware (the operating system) for the STB and the PVRs DP-P1 and DP-S1. The site is here: http://www.beyonwiz.com.au/download.asp
Check whether you have the latest version, and if not you'll have to get one of those USB keys, plug it into your computer and download the latest version. For example, the DP-P1 has a new version as at August 2008, so it needs to be done now. If you don't do this, there will be the possibility that your machine will lose some functions, at least temporarily.

Marantz have produced a lovely pair of heavyweight surround sound components in the AV8003 pre/processor and MM8003 8-channel power amplifier. 		 
Plasma Still Strong

While LCD seems to be all the go, we still find the best results in the plasmas from Pioneer and Panasonic. These are full HD screens with very high contrast and excellent on or off-axis vividness.
